Visible condensation does not establish safe flue discharge; plume management must suit the appliance and its surroundings.
The visible white cloud forms when water vapour in the exhaust condenses into tiny droplets. This can be normal for a condensing boiler, but the discharge also carries combustion gases. Its appearance does not prove safe combustion or make it safe to direct towards people or building openings.
